Bae’s Cocktail Club is opening this week and offers a perfect solution for people in their 20s and 30s who want to keep the night going after dinner and drinks. This new venue provides a place to stay all night, enjoying serious cocktails, easy-to-eat food, DJ entertainment, and private and semi-private rooms. Located above Low Tide at 98 Club Street, Bae’s will have seating for 74 and plenty of space for dancing.
Located in the Korean restaurant precinct, Bae’s offers a unique blend of international flavors with a Korean flair, featuring hip-hop and R&B music. Highlights include cocktails like the Makeogli Colada Slushie, Doenjang Espresso, and Kimchi mezcal cocktail, all priced between $25 and $30. Bar bites such as cornflake-covered corndogs and oyster shooters with kimchi gazpacho are designed to be easy to eat, while more substantial dishes like steak, pork collar, and fried chicken are priced from $30 to $50.
The venture is a collaboration of several industry experts, including The Proper Concepts Collective’s Mr. Leong Sheen Jet, Coolpotions’ Mr. Dharma Wang, Native and Analogue bars’ Mr. Vijay Mudaliar, Grimm & Company’s Mr. Benjamin Aryanto, and Wild’s Mr. Tora Widjaja. They have meticulously planned the drink stations and staff training to ensure consistent quality. Bae’s aims to combine top-notch DJ entertainment with excellent drinks and a late-night experience, tapping into the global influence of Korean culture in a way not yet seen in Singapore’s clubbing and cocktail scene.
