SIDES, the viral fried chicken brand by UK YouTube collective Sidemen, is making its Asian debut right here in Singapore. Known for their wildly popular Nashville-style fried chicken, this marks the chain’s first outpost outside the UK. For the uninitiated, Sidemen commands over 22 million subscribers and is best known for its outrageous sketches and challenges—now turned fast-food entrepreneurs with five stores across the UK.
At the heart of SIDES is its double-dipped, double-coated fried chicken—crunchy, juicy, and packed with flavour. While the Singapore menu is still under wraps, fans can expect a similar spread to the UK lineup: crispy wings, tenders, fried chicken burgers, and indulgent sides like waffle fries, mac and cheese bites, onion rings, and cheese poppers. The UK outlets also offer plant-based options, and there’s hope those will land here too. With most items priced under £10 in the UK, SIDES keeps things tasty and accessible.
The Singapore store is set to open at Bugis+, where signage has already been spotted. While an exact launch date hasn’t been confirmed, the team is eyeing a grand opening in June 2025. Fingers crossed it’ll be halal-certified like its UK counterparts—perfect for the local crowd.
