Tokyo’s famed pizzeria, Pizza Studio Tamaki (PST), is landing in Singapore this June—marking its first foray into the city. A hit with celebrities like Jeff Bezos and Justin Bieber, PST is one of Tokyo’s most sought-after pizza spots and a regular on the 50 Top Pizza Asia-Pacific list. Backed by acclaim from both Michelin and pizza insiders, it’s set to bring serious street cred—and serious slices—to Singapore’s buzzing pizza scene.
Founded by Tsubasa Tamaki in 2017, PST is known for its Napoli-style pies with a signature 30-hour fermented dough, blending Japanese and American flours for that perfect puffy crust and thin centre. The Singapore kitchen at Tanjong Pagar will be helmed by Tamaki’s protégé, Ryosuke Tanahara, who trained under him for nearly three years. Fun fact: another one of Tamaki’s students, Eddie Murakami, now runs Beyond the Dough on Arab Street.
This will be PST’s fifth outlet, joining three in Japan and a newly opened spot in Bangkok—all known for weeks-long waitlists. The Singapore store officially opens on June 10, with reservations set to go live soon.
