The Working Capitol expands its presence beyond its flagship hub at 1 Keong Saik, introducing a new co-working space at 39 Ann Siang in partnership with Draper House. Located within Singapore’s first and oldest clan association, Ning Yeung Wui Kuan (宁阳会馆), this space offers a dynamic and casual setting designed for team huddles, networking, and private events of up to 50 guests. Once a gathering place for Cantonese immigrants since 1822, the historic site has been thoughtfully revitalized while preserving its cultural significance.
The ground floor now serves as a welcoming community hub, continuing to house Draper House’s headquarters while supporting The Working Capitol’s enterprise members in the Ann Siang and Telok Ayer neighbourhoods. The upper levels have been transformed into serviced offices, catering to the needs of growing businesses. This restoration retains the building’s legacy of fostering local communities, offering a unique blend of heritage and modern functionality.
With this expansion, The Working Capitol strengthens its commitment to entrepreneurs by providing a dedicated space for collaboration and growth. In partnership with Draper Startup House, this second co-working hub at 39 Ann Siang reflects a shared vision of sustainability, community impact, and business innovation. By extending its footprint further into Telok Ayer and Ann Siang, The Working Capitol continues to support Singapore’s entrepreneurial ecosystem in one of its most historically rich neighbourhoods.
