The Artground at One Holland Village is the new kid on the block, with the heart and intention to design an ecosystem that empowers everyone in the family, to meaningfully engage with one another, through the arts. It’s providing families with children between ages of 0 to 9 with a new space to explore.
This is the second location for the arts charity. It’s first location at Goodman Arts Centre will continue to serve families in the East of Singapore.
At A Curious Garden, kids can jump up on toadstools and dance with the garden gnomes. Spot reimagined rocks in a garden, sit on logs and create your own adventure by going on a colourful trail of discovery. There is also a treehouse where kids can hideaway or hold their own secret meetings. Inside a geodesic dome, fluffy cushions invite kids to simply hang out and enjoy the aesthetics of the space at The Artground @ One Holland Village. The Artground takes inspiration from Loris Malaguzzi approach of celebrating children’s hundreds of languages; of speaking, of playing, of marvelling, of wondrous new ways of being.
The Artground @ One Holland Village will be conducting weekly art-based curriculum for little ones, drop-in programmes for grandparents and grandchildren, or weekend programmes for parent-child pairs.
