Yuen Yeung is a new dessert café on Neil Road that’s making waves with its modern take on traditional tong sui desserts. Housed in a contemporary yet welcoming space, the café blends classic Chinese dessert elements with trendy, updated touches. The menu is thoughtfully split into “Hot” and “Cold” sections, staying true to traditional tong sui formats while introducing fresh interpretations.
Among the highlights is the Signature Pistachio Paste, known for its rich, nutty texture. The Traditional Brown Sugar Boba & Taro Ball Snow is a satisfying cold option, offering a mix of chewy and bouncy textures. Another standout is the Freshly Ground Tangyuan with Black Sesame Paste, which delivers deep, roasted flavours, even if the consistency is slightly lighter than expected.
Though still new, Yuen Yeung is quickly earning attention as a fresh addition to Singapore’s dessert scene. While there are currently no beverages on the menu, the inventive spins on classic desserts speak for themselves—making it a spot worth visiting for those craving comfort with a twist.
