Since launching in 2019, the brand has skyrocketed to over 800 locations across China, making a name for itself as the country’s first quick-service Suan Cai Yu concept.
Traditionally served as a large, share-style dish, Xiao Yu Hao revolutionised the beloved pickled mustard fish soup by offering it in single-portion formats, catering to the fast-paced lifestyles of urban diners. Now in Singapore, the brand introduces five flavourful broth options including the signature Xiao Yu Hao Suan Cai Yu, Lemon Suan Tang Yu, and the umami-packed Gui Zhou Hong Suan Tang—all priced from just $9.90.
Diners can customise their bowl with protein choices like Black Fish, White Fish, Marbled Beef, or a Fish & Beef Combo, paired with five-grain or rice noodles. Each bowl comes brimming with hearty add-ons like tofu puffs, mushrooms, and vermicelli, with additional toppings such as Cheese Tofu or Lobster Balls available. Fast, affordable, and full of flavour, Xiao Yu Hao is making a splash with its accessible take on Sichuan comfort food.
