Along the breezy waterfront of Esplanade, look forward to a taquería like no other, where addictive tacos, nachos and ice-cold beer set the pace for a great time out any time, any day. Delve into a vibrant fun and buzzy atmosphere of the best of Mexican cuisine, complemented by a bevy of Latino cocktails, exciting Mexican beer selection and colourful mocktails.
On the menu, the most delicious tacos from all over Mexico are the stars of the show. Curated and perfected by Chef Tamara, Tomatillo seeks to bring the most diverse Mexican recipes from all corners of Mexico right to your plate. As a pet-friendly destination, look no further for your next taco day or night out, best enjoyed with a view and the warm company of your furkids by your side.
Get ready for a real taco party with TACOS galore at Tomatillo. Chef’s recommendations include the Taco de Jaiba ($16) featuring crispy soft shell crab stuffed with cabbage, tomato onion salsa, habanero mayo and mango as well as the Taco al Pastor ($12) a meaty rendition of marinated pork in Mexican Adobo, complemented with pineapple salad and salsa de Arbol chilli. Other flavours not to miss are the Taco de Carne Asada ($16) featuring grilled beef intercostal, Pescadito ($14) that’s like a fish and chips in a taco, Taco de Pollo Pancho ($14) of marinated grilled chicken in Mexican spice and a vegetarian iteration Super Veggie Taco ($12) made with grilled asparagus, baby corn and a mushroom mayo with Pico de Gallo.
TAPAS brings the likes of Mariachi Wings ($12) served with sweet and sour sauce and BBQ mayo, Calamares Chipotle ($18) dusted with Sumac spice and served with smoked Mexican chilli mayo and Tostadas de Pulpo ($20) an octopus salad texturised with crunchy corn tortilla and tossed in a dressing of Pico de Gallo, coriander, smoky mayo and avocado puree.
Whetting the appetite further are CEVICHES & AGUACHILES like Ceviche Tomatillo ($18) made of marinated tuna in green Tomatillo Tiger’s Milk, Vuelve a la Vida ($19) featuring calamari, octopus and dish in tomato Tiger’s Milk and and Aguachile Negro ($20) presenting marinated baby scallops in onions and cucumber squid ink Tiger’s Milk.
NACHOS come in two sizes – Regular and XL – satiating all appetites in iterations of Chilli Con Carne ($24/$36), Chilangos ($22/$30), Salsa Roja ($10/$18) and Guacamole ($12/$20).



MEXICAN PIZZAS are baked with signature Mexican touches with flavours like Pork Carnitas ($24) marrying marinated and braised pork with pickled jalapeno chilli mozzarella cheese and pork crackling, Pollo Morcho ($22) topped with marinated and grilled chicken in Mexican spices and 4 Cheese of Mexican Love ($22) baking up the goodness of the four cheeses of mozzarella, oaxaca, parmesan and Monterey cheeses with avocado, corn, coriander and garlic mayo.
Bite into BURRITOS the likes of Grilled Beef Intercostal ($16), Pork Carnitas ($14), Grilled Chicken ($14) and Asparagus & Baby Corn ($12), each made with soft flour tortilla, Mexican rice, beans, cheese, lettuce and pickles, served with fries.
A taste trip to Mexico would not be complete with ENCHILADAS; Tomatillo presents theirs as Enchiladas de Tomatillo Chicken ($16), Pork Carnitas or vegetarian-friendly Asparagus & Baby Corn ($14), all versions wrapped in corn tortillas before doused with green Tomatillo salsa verde, sour cream, oaxaca cheese and white onions.
For a true and proper Tomatillo immersion, the SIGNATURES will transport you right to Mexico like the Roasted Pork Ribs “Mexican Style” ($26 for 3 pieces) featuring juicy ribs fired to perfection and rubbed over with a Mexican Adobo sauce and served with homemade BBQ dressing, sweet plantain puree and potato fries.
Adding to the experience are SIDES like Queso Fundido ($12) a delightful plate of Mexican melted cheese and Esquites ($8) of Mexican corn kernel dressed with mayonnaise, chilli flakes and fresh cheese. Other options include Mexican Tomato Rice ($6), Ranchero Beans ($6), Pico de Gallo ($8) and Guacamole ($7)
For sweet ends, look forward to DESSERT like Pastel de Limon ($12) a Mexican lemon pie accompanied with cream cheese and candied pecan nuts, Tres Leches ($12) signature moist coconut cake served with vanilla cream and mixed berries and Crepas Chidas ($12) light and airy crepes layered with dulce de leches, sweet plantain and banana.
When it comes to drinks, toast to good times with classic Latino COCKTAILS like Margarita, Paloma, Mojito, Michelada and Pisco Sour.
