Local brand Edith Patisserie, renowned for its bespoke celebration cakes, is launching a new concept—one that steps away from cakes. Co-founder Shaun is opening Tina’s Café in Everton Park as a heartfelt tribute to his late mother, Tina, who passed in 2024 after battling cancer. The café will serve traditional breakfast sets alongside hearty local fare, featuring some of Tina’s favorite comfort foods.
Start your mornings with classics like kaya butter toast with soft-boiled eggs, paired with a cup of kopi or teh. For something more filling, the menu offers options like a generous breakfast platter, nasi lemak, and other comforting dishes. Unique treats such as orh nee (yam) pandan chiffon cake, Portuguese egg tarts, waffles, and ice cream add a twist to the lineup. There’s also an option to swap kaya for orh nee paste in the butter toast set—a rare find at most breakfast spots in Singapore.
Tina’s Café keeps things simple with a no-frills take on Nanyang-style breakfast, featuring familiar favorites like kaya butter toast, kopi, and nasi lemak. Alongside its main offerings, the café will also serve a selection of cakes from Edith Patisserie, including flavors like Lychee Rose, Ondeh Ondeh, Yuzu Osmanthus, and Chocolate Fudge.
