Their story began with the passion and dedication of our founder, Thian Lee Shing who embarked on a journey tasting many different variants of Bak Kut Teh as he could from around the world. With every bowl he savored, he thought about how he could refine what he tasted. His hard work and effort eventually led to the creation of the unforgettable flavor of his very own – Soon Huat JB Bak Kut Teh.
His experiences have crafted a cherished family recipe, passed down through generations. Taking his creation to a small stall in a local coffee shop in Johor Bahru, what began so humbly has now blossomed to 21 restaurant locations across Malaysia and Singapore.
