Sol & Ora rides on the success of Sol & Luna, the ever-popular bistro at downtown CapitaSpring under 1-Group. As part of the group’s latest multi-concept beachfront project known as 1-Altitude Coast, Sol & Ora is located next to 1-Altitude Coast Rooftop Bar & Day Club, within reach of other hotels and lifestyle destinations and three beaches.
Sol & Ora – meaning ‘Sun & Shore’ in Latin – is a restaurant inspired by the Mediterranean way of life. Like the sun and shore and their eternal ubiquity, Sol & Ora is an all-day, all-occasion gastronomic destination set on the coast, that is ‘always close, but never closed’.
The region is famously a melting pot of culinary history and tradition unmatched in diversity and richness, so Sol & Ora pays homage to this with a fresh, produce-driven menu curated from the sea’s northern littoral, namely the ‘Latin-Mediterranean’ countries of Italy, France, Spain and Greece.
The best of each cuisine is showcased through timeless recipes reinvented with a twist and finesse; crafted with variety for different times of the day – from breakfast, brunch, high tea, lunch and dinner, and refreshing drinks. From Italy comes house-made and hand-crafted pastas and risotto while French offerings are led by light seafood dishes inspired by the French Riviera. Spanish flavours come alive with mouth-watering tapas and other creations grilled to perfection on the Josper grill, and in the Greek selection, vegetables and herbs take centre stage.
