Rumifolks, a local beverage brand that first gained recognition through trade fairs, has made a comeback with a new café at 28 Bali Lane. Formerly known as Rumi The Poet’s Cup at Haji Lane, the brand became popular for its distinctive drinks and poetic charm. Its closure made headlines and stirred strong reactions from fans, but the return of Rumifolks marks a fresh chapter—same spirit, new address. The new space offers a brighter, more welcoming vibe while keeping its signature laid-back energy.
Inside, Rumifolks blends cosy and quirky in a way that feels both familiar and refreshing. The café is lined with greenery, books, and playful decorative touches, including a Star Wars X-wing and a vintage Fender amp. The food menu leans into casual café fare with items like Truffle Shoestring Fries, various croissant-based sandwiches, a Rendang Beef Pie, and Wagyu Steak. While the dishes offer comfort and familiarity, it’s the drinks menu that stands out most.
Beverage options range from inventive coffees like Butterscotch Americano, Pandan Latte, and Iced Dalgona Coffee to creative non-coffee selections such as Sea Salt Blue Ocean and Iced Berry Mint Tea. Signature drinks under the Rumi Classics lineup include the well-loved Rumi Teh Tarik, Salted Caramel Macchiato, and Hazel Malt. Whether visitors come for a quiet moment with a book or a casual catch-up over coffee, Rumifolks brings back the poetic soul that once made it a Haji Lane favourite—this time with even more room to relax and explore.
