Quiet Corner is D.Bespoke’s latest daytime concept, tucked within its Bukit Pasoh hideout and designed as a gentle pause from the city’s pace. Inspired by Japan’s jazz kissatens of the 1960s to 1980s, the space channels a moody, wood-lined atmosphere where time slows and conversation softens. It builds on the spirit of Corner Corner—RPM’s daytime coffee programme—offering a similarly reflective experience, this time in a more intimate, lounge-like setting.
The menu is intentionally restrained, spotlighting quality over quantity. Guests can choose between two coffee blends: the siphon-brewed Jazz Blend, which leans bitter and chocolatey, or the nel drip-style Ambient Blend, known for its fruitier, nuttier, wine-like notes. Alongside coffee and tea, there’s a selection of classic kissaten desserts such as pudding, coffee jelly, and mizu yokan, offering nostalgic comfort in simple, well-executed forms.
For those easing into the afternoon, Quiet Corner also serves whisky highballs and cold-brew-based coffee cocktails, best enjoyed to the soundtrack of the owner’s extensive collection of jazz, ambient, and folk records playing softly in the background. Calm, contemplative, and quietly immersive, Quiet Corner feels less like a bar and more like an urban refuge—one designed for lingering, listening, and slowing down.
