Malaysia’s beloved kopitiam chain, Oriental Kopi, is expanding its footprint in Singapore with a second outlet set to open at NEX mall in June 2025. The first outlet, located at Bugis Junction, has seen consistent crowds since its debut in late November 2024, drawing fans for its nostalgic flavours and signature bakes. With the new opening in the North, residents can soon skip the long queues and enjoy their Oriental Kopi favourites closer to home.
The NEX outlet will offer the same well-loved menu as the flagship store, featuring items like their record-breaking egg tarts, freshly baked polo buns, and robust Nanyang-style coffee. Savoury dishes such as the Curry Double Lava Egg Toast, Oriental Nasi Lemak, and Penang Char Kway Teow will also be available, with prices starting from just $1.80. Known for its award-winning pastries and bold traditional flavours, Oriental Kopi has made a name for itself as a must-visit destination for local and Malaysian fare.
This expansion marks Oriental Kopi’s first overseas venture, made possible through a partnership with Paradise Group, one of Singapore’s most established F&B names. Last year, it was spotlighted on New York’s Times Square Billboard, the brand’s growing global presence reflects a shared mission with Paradise Group to honour and preserve culinary heritage while making authentic Nanyang cuisine accessible to more diners.
