A new artisanal Makkoli restaurant and bar, Odem, has opened in New Bahru, featuring craft brews from various regions of Korea alongside modern Korean dishes. As Singapore’s first craft Makkoli bar, Odem offers a curated selection of small-batch brews made by passionate artisans, embodying the “son-mat,” or the craftsman’s touch, which infuses each brew with unique flavors. With an array of selections from different breweries, Odem pairs its hand-crafted rice wines with a modern Korean menu designed to complement the distinctive taste of Makkoli.
