Recently opened in the CBD, Oatsome is a clean, small-batch bakery and Greek yoghurt bar that keeps its offerings intentionally focused. Flavours rotate regularly, giving regulars a reason to return, while the compact counter display makes it the kind of place you step into out of curiosity and leave with a box in hand. The emphasis here is on freshness, balance and restraint rather than excess.
The menu centres on thick, tangy Greek yoghurt desserts and a tight rotation of baked goods made fresh daily. Expect tiramisu-style yoghurt cups and parfaits layered with care, alongside pillowy Korean-style bbangs with soft, stretchy centres and gently sweet fillings. The cinnamon rolls are a highlight – slow-proofed, fluffy, and finished with light yoghurt-based creams in flavours such as coffee or pistachio, striking a balance between indulgent and wholesome.
Despite its central location, the space feels soft, airy and unhurried. The calm, understated atmosphere makes Oatsome an easy stop for a quiet treat or a casual takeaway between meetings. First-timers would do well to start with a warm cinnamon roll, then add a tub of Greek yoghurt to go – intended for later, but unlikely to last that long.
