Nick Vina Artisan Bakery was established in the year 2011 by Master baker Chef Nick Chua, who was trained in Hanover, Germany. Chef Nick has drilled down the basic of artisan bread baking by sourcing non-GMO wheat from Hildesheim Börde region which has the most fertile soil in Germany. He also worked with a family-owned Great mills in German Hildesheim (in operations since 1714) which mills the highest quality flours for Nick Vina Artisan Bakery.
Nick Vina was the first bakery in Singapore awarded “Singapore Healthier Bakery in 2019” by Singapore Health Promotion Board and received many awards such as “Healthy Bakery of the Year-Singapore 2020 & 2021” by Global Excellence London, “Best Takeaway Food 2019 & 2020” by Restaurant Guru and more.
Nick Vina is also a member of US Whole Grain Council and was ranked one of the best Sourdough bread in Singapore by Time out. They have more than 50 types of artisan bread using different types of flours like rye, spelt, Buckwheat, Sprouted Wheat, Sorghum and many more with seeds and grains. There are many specialty bread and loaves at Nick Vina which rarely can be purchased in Singapore.
