“Nesuto”, which means “nest” in Japanese, embodies the brand’s aspiration to create a comfortable and inviting space that leaves a lasting impression and inspires returned visits – like a bird to its nest. As part of its rebranding, Nesuto has transitioned its logo from a bird motif to a simplified design featuring an egg resting atop a nest. The egg represents the café’s commitment to using simple and pure ingredients to create exquisite flavours, while also embodying the brand’s dedication to continuous evolution and improvement. The introduction of the new café concept marks a significant milestone, as Nesuto is poised to elevate its product offerings and enhance the overall customer experience.
Located on level 1 of Jewel Changi Airport, the store exterior features curved lines and soft edges reminiscent of the contours of an egg, subtly paying homage to the brand’s origins. Its facade is also meticulously hand painted stroke by stroke, to illustrate the organic and natural texture of the eggshell. A departure from its conventional café design at Tras Street, the new 30-seater café is elevated into a stylish and minimalistic post-modern interior that exudes a calming and homey atmosphere.
