An omakase from Sapporo which high-ranking officials and celebrities frequent has opened its first outpost in Suntec City.
Located on the third floor of the mall, Nagai Hokkaido Cuisine is helmed by Makoto Nagai, the son of chef-founder Shinichiro Nagai, who is managing the Sapporo outlet. This is the restaurant’s first overseas outpost (not even available in other Japanese cities) after operating for 29 years.
The founder, Shinichiro Nagai, trained at famous restaurants in Sapporo Susukino and Tokyo Roppongi before opening “Local Cuisine Nagai” in Sapporo Susukino in April 1993. It is a famous restaurant that has customers not only from Hokkaido but also from all over the country, from important business entertainment for large corporations to celebrations for special occasions and has even been visited by the Prime Minister of Japan and the Japanese Imperial Family. They bring same concept to Singapore.
