Singapore’s first Miffy-themed hot pot pop-up is arriving within Taiwan-inspired eatery Wong Fu Fu, near Haji Lane. Bringing a touch of whimsy to the dining scene, this limited-time experience is perfect for fans of character-themed cafés. The star attraction is a handmade, Miffy-shaped chicken collagen stock, which melts into a comforting broth, echoing Japan’s famous ‘melting’ teddy bear hot pot from Kumachan Onsen, now with an adorable Dutch bunny twist.
Guests can choose from six flavorful soup bases, including tom yum, dashi kelp, kimchi, szechuan mala, kung fu herbal, and ‘shiok prawn,’ each served in individual mini hot pots. Proteins include sliced chicken breast, sliced beef, mixed seafood, or a combination of sliced chicken and beef. Each set includes collagen broth, assorted vegetables such as leafy greens, mushrooms, sweet corn, and star-shaped carrots with cute bunny-themed touches. Carbohydrates like Chinese ramen and Taiwan egg fried rice are available as add-ons to round out your meal.
For an added treat, guests can enjoy free-flow bubble milk tea for a discounted rate with any Miffy hot pot order. This pop-up is expected to run until mid-January 2025, with potential for an extension if demand is high. Throughout the event, Wong Fu Fu will continue serving its Taiwanese classics like braised beef noodles and rice bowls. Conveniently located near Haji Lane and Bugis MRT, this unique dining experience is just a short hop away.
