Merci Marcel, the beloved French dining destination, announces the opening of its fifth Singapore location at Robertson Quay, bringing its unique ‘savoir-faire’ to discerning diners and wine enthusiasts in an exclusive collaboration with acclaimed Chef Bruno Ménard. This new riverside destination invites guests to indulge in an elevated dining experience, showcasing modern French cuisine paired with an expertly curated selection of the finest French wines.
Located in a beautifully restored 19th-Century warehouse, Merci Marcel at Robertson Quay offers a stunning setting that marries French Riviera charm with Singapore’s vibrant waterfront lifestyle. The restaurant features original archways and an outdoor terrace that provides breathtaking views of the
riverside, creating an inviting atmosphere ideal for every occasion—whether it’s an intimate dinner or a celebratory gathering.
At the heart of this new dining experience is Chef Bruno Ménard, whose three decades of culinary expertise across Asia have shaped a menu that celebrates French culinary heritage while incorporating contemporary innovations. “What drew me to this collaboration was Merci Marcel’s strong identity and their commitment to genuine hospitality,” shares Chef Ménard. “Together, we’re focusing on the essentials that make French cuisine special—exceptional ingredients, time-honoured techniques, and flavours that speak for themselves. With this menu, we celebrate French culinary heritage while embracing fresh perspectives.” He further emphasises, “Being in the heart of Robertson Quay is the perfect setting for what we wanted to create together.” Chef Bruno Ménard teamed closely with Merci Marcel’s chefs to create a menu that delivers only the best.
The menu features a range of exquisite dishes designed to delight the palate. Starters include the velvety Cévennes onion soup, which showcases produce from the south of France, with generous chunks of pan-seared foie gras and delicate truffle Chantilly, as well as lighter options like the refreshing beetroot tartar and crab croquettes, which offer a playful nod to local flavours with Singaporean-style chilli crab mayonnaise.

For mains, guests can savour the signature wild porcini ravioles, featuring delicate pasta pillows in a creamy cep sauce, or indulge in the perfectly roasted chicken breast served with piquant tomato-raspberry sauce. Seafood lovers will appreciate the poached snapper & scallop quenelle, showcasing classical French technique, while the heartier grilled ribeye steak (600g) promises a satisfying experience with premium beef complemented by Cambodian Kampot pepper and crispy string potatoes.
Dessert enthusiasts will delight in Chef Ménard’s adaptations of classic recipes, including the light and indulgent rum baba, inspired by his father’s cherished recipe and featuring a passionfruit glaze and playful dose of double-cask Plantation Dark Rum. Other sweet offerings, like the warm chocolate espuma and coconut spoom, provide a fitting finale to the meal.
The Merci Marcel experience is completed by a meticulously curated wine list, featuring prestigious labels and hidden gems from France’s diverse regions. Thoughtfully selected to complement the menu, the collection invites guests to explore refined pairings. Wine enthusiasts can indulge in exceptional vintages such as the Saint-Julien 2006 from Château Léoville Barton, a bold and elegant expression of Bordeaux, or the Nuits-Saint-Georges 2021 from Domaine Jean Chauvenet, a refined Burgundy that embodies the timeless charm of Pinot Noir.
Marie-Charlotte Ley, CEO & Co-founder of Merci Marcel, expresses her excitement about the new location: “Robertson Quay represents an exciting new chapter in our story. This location allows us to share our passion for French culture in a setting that perfectly balances refinement with accessibility. For us, it’s about bringing the best of modern French gastronomy to Singapore in an atmosphere that welcomes both everyday moments and special celebrations.” She adds, “Collaborating with Bruno Ménard on this new Merci Marcel has been an incredible journey. His expertise and creativity have elevated our dinner menu, bringing a refined yet approachable take on French cuisine that perfectly complements the vibrant atmosphere of Robertson Quay.”
Open from Tuesday to Sunday until 12am, guests can enjoy this dining experience until late, with the kitchen serving until 10:30pm, making Merci Marcel Robertson Quay a go-to destination for those seeking a leisurely dinner beyond typical hours.
This new Merci Marcel promises to be the latest hotspot at Robertson Quay, attracting both locals and visitors seeking a great evening along the riverside.
