Merci Marcel will open its doors at a new Serangoon Gardens address with a neighbourhood soft opening from 21 to 23 January, inviting guests to experience the brand’s signature warmth in a refreshed setting. Staying true to its “France-in-the-Tropics” spirit, the new space blends relaxed French social dining with an easy, convivial atmosphere — a place designed for good food, good wine, and even better company.
The space carries the familiar Merci Marcel aesthetic: bright, airy interiors softened with greenery, charming details, and a balance of comfort and understated elegance. The menu centres on fresh, French-inspired dishes crafted with quality ingredients, paired naturally with wines, cheeses, and shareable plates. It’s intentionally unpretentious, encouraging guests to linger, reconnect, and enjoy fuss-free dining in a calm, welcoming environment.
As with its other outposts across Singapore, this new opening continues the brand’s philosophy of creating social spaces that feel both familiar and distinctive. Guided by the persona of “Marcel” — an elegant yet approachable character — the venue offers a gentle escape from the city’s pace, inviting diners to settle in, savour the moment, and be part of the brand’s next chapter before its official opening.
