Mag’s Wine Kitchen has recently relocated to Neil Road, continuing its legacy as one of Singapore’s long-standing restaurants. Known for its contemporary European cuisine with Japanese influences, the restaurant reflects Chef-Owner Mag Tang’s philosophy of staying relevant while remaining true to her motto of serving only the freshest ingredients. Seafood is sourced directly from Japan several times a week, with dishes crafted through traditional French techniques refined for modern palates.
The restaurant’s open kitchen is the heart of the space, offering diners a front-row view of the passion and precision behind each dish. A highlight of the interior is the seven-metre-long marble Chef’s Table, seating nine guests for an intimate and interactive dining experience. Guests can also choose to dine in the cosy main room, which surrounds the extensive wine cellar. Mag’s thoughtfully curated wine list ranges from Bordeaux and Burgundy labels to well-priced everyday bottles, with the addition of sake to complement the Japanese-inspired dishes on the menu.
Mag’s offers both lunch prix-fixe menus and à la carte or omakase dinner selections, alongside daily specials and bistro-style sharing platters. Balancing casual conviviality with fine dining flair, the restaurant blends its roots in haute cuisine with approachable new formats. Whether enjoyed at the Chef’s Table or in the dining room, each meal at Mag’s remains a celebration of fresh produce, inventive cooking and good company.
