Award-winning Minnan (Hokkien) cuisine brand LINKUS 临家 has officially opened its doors in Singapore, marking the brand’s first international outpost after more than two decades of success in China. Founded in Xiamen in 2004, Linkus brings with it a deep-rooted culinary heritage, honed across over 19 self-operated outlets and a reputation for refined, ingredient-driven Minnan cooking.
Now located at Suntec City, the restaurant stays true to its “Linjia” philosophy—literally meaning “the neighbour’s house”—where guests are welcomed like family. The space reflects this ethos with dark wood finishes, deep teal walls, and softly glowing lanterns that create a calm, intimate mood. Nothing feels showy here; the focus is firmly on food, produce, and balance.
On the menu, Minnan classics are executed with clarity and restraint. Standouts include the Tender Squid in Spicy Chilli Oil—addictive and vibrant without overpowering heat—and the comforting Red Mushroom Tofu Soup, rich with savoury depth. The Hokkien Rice Cake Steamed with Mud Crab is a highlight, pairing fragrant glutinous rice with sweet, generous crab, while indulgent dishes like Buddha Jumps Over the Wall arrive thick, nourishing, and packed with premium ingredients. Expect light seasoning, pristine seafood, and a quiet confidence that lets natural flavours speak—an assured introduction of Minnan cuisine to Singapore’s dining scene.
