Dumpling fans, rejoice: Starting with this first LeMa Dumpling restaurant at Jewel, Paradise Group has plans to expand its new concept to 5 outlets in a year, up to a total of 20 islandwide.
Dumplings made with Love, Flavours filled with Happiness
The name LeMa means “happiness” and “mother” in Chinese, conjuring images of mummy dearest in the kitchen, humming her favourite song as she selects the most nutritious ingredients for her children, meticulously chopping the vegetables, and wrapping dumplings for the whole family. These are treasured memories that LeMa Dumpling wants to showcase through its food – comforting, familiar, and made with love.
Each handcrafted dumpling is a generous 28g, truly jumbo-sized compared to the usual 15-22g ones. Savour every piece of LeMa’s jumbo dumplings, meticulously made with the freshest ingredients; the thin, delicate skin brimming with juicy fillings, packed with care, patience, and a whole lot of heart – just like how mum would make them. Choose from a variety of fillings: a combination of pork or prawn, paired with your pick of vegetable: corn, cabbage or chive.
The dumplings can be poached as a healthier choice, or pan-fried for that delicious crispy bottom. Both options are equally juicy, with a succulent filling and excellent mouthfeel, the wrappers silky yet sturdy. Depending on what you opt for, prices range from an affordable $3.95 to $5.45 for 5 pieces (minimum of 2 portions per order per cooking style; flavours can be mixed).
In addition to the dumpling stars, LeMa Dumpling ensures that the entire family gets fed at pocket-friendly prices. Also on the menu are QQ Noodles in dry or soup versions. Try the Signature “Dan Dan” Noodle ($5.90), with its mild spicy notes; You can also order Stir-fried Noodle with Diced Chicken ($7.90), or savour some aromatic Ham Egg Fried Rice ($7.90), and add on some sides like the Crispy Golden Tofu ($2.60), and Crispy Chicken ($6.50). Help yourself to the Sauce & Drink Station, featuring LeMa’s signature homemade dumpling dipping sauce, along with complimentary free-flow Water Chestnut and Soya Bean drinks.
