Le Musée is a new patisserie tucked within Icon Link@ClubStreet, a freshly launched underground mall conveniently connected to both Telok Ayer and Chinatown MRT stations. While many are eagerly anticipating the opening of Pierre Hermé’s first Singapore outpost in Sentosa in mid-2025, Le Musée offers a closer and more immediate indulgence for macaron lovers. Its name, which means “The Museum” in French, reflects the brand’s artistic approach to dessert — each macaron is carefully crafted to resemble miniature works of art.
The patisserie’s Signature Collection showcases six artisanal macarons ($7 each), each boasting three times the filling of a typical macaron. Highlights include the Royal Earl Grey and the pistachio berry, which features a Japanese pistachio purée made from imported nuts. Other crowd favourites include the salted caramel coco, layered with chocolate; the tropical Coconut Mango Tango; a rich crème brûlée; and a creative tiramisu macaron that sandwiches a Ladyfingers biscuit between generous layers of mascarpone cream.
Le Musée’s latest offering, the ‘Le Fruit’ collection, introduces six new creations ($8 each) inspired by fresh fruits. Each macaron in this line features a delicate lattice-shaped shell resembling a seashell, with fillings piped to look like glistening pearls. The upgraded pistachio berry uses a higher grade of Japanese pistachios paired with wild seasonal berries. Adventurous palates can also try the Tokyo Banana macaron, a nod to the popular Japanese treat, or the melon parma ham, a savoury twist on the classic Italian Prosciutto e Melone.
