Kin Hoi has found a new home at Orchard Towers, bringing its signature Thai street-style seafood to the heart of Orchard Road. What started as a home-based business selling cockles in 2020 has since grown into a beloved brand, known for its bold flavours, generous portions, and authentic Thai-style dishes. The Orchard Towers outlet, which seats 60, marks an exciting new chapter for founder Daniel Teo, who saw potential in the building’s revival when he scouted the location.
Now two months in, Kin Hoi is drawing a steady crowd eager for favourites like juicy cockles served with spicy Thai-Teochew sauces, gong gong (sea conch), Boat Noodles, Thai Chicken Rice, and golden seafood omelettes. The atmosphere is casual and lively — a nod to the brand’s street food roots — yet elevated with warmth and character that makes every visit feel like dining among friends.
For Teo, who calls his venture a “Kingdom business,” the move is about more than just good food. He believes Orchard Towers is undergoing a positive transformation, one that aligns with his faith and vision. “When the church comes in, the community grows,” he shares, convinced that the building’s new chapter will bring light and new energy to Orchard Road — with Kin Hoi right at the heart of it.
