Singaporeans love exploring new pastry trends, and Keedo Keedo is the latest hotspot to satisfy their cravings. Tucked just a short stroll away from Bugis MRT Station, this charming bakery is a family affair, specializing in Italian pastries, particularly sfogliatella, also known as lobster tail pastry.
Despite its name, sfogliatella isn’t seafood-related. Instead, it’s a delightful combination of flaky, layered pastry filled with a sweet, creamy custard. Light and crispy, it pairs perfectly with a morning cup of coffee or an afternoon treat.
Owner Gerald Kee’s journey to perfecting these pastries took him to Naples, Italy, where he learned from a local baker before refining his skills back in Singapore. With Keedo Keedo now open, Gerald and his aunt Helen lovingly handcraft these delectable pastries daily, bringing a taste of Italy to the heart of Singapore.
