IRVINS, Singapore’s beloved salted egg snack brand, is collaborating with KidZania Singapore, the interactive city where children can role-play at real world jobs, to launch IRVINS’ first-ever interactive snack factory. Slated to launch on 16 May 2024, the factory provides children an opportunity to get hands-on with snack making and immerse themselves in a world where curiosity meets Dangerously Addictive™.
Aimed to ignite the imaginations of young minds, the factory presents an interactive journey through the creation of IRVINS’ array of iconic salted egg snacks. From exploring the intricate seasoning process to meticulously packaging the final product, children will step into the shoes of snack manufacturers, uncovering the wonders of snack making, and enjoy every bite of the experience.
“At IRVINS, we’re passionate about sharing the magic of snack making with the world, and we’re thrilled to collaborate with KidZania Singapore to unlock a unique experience for families to bond and learn,” said Irvin Gunawan, Founder of IRVINS. “Apart from creating snacks that bring joy, we also look to inspire the next generation of young entrepreneurs and chefs – made possible with IRVINS’ interactive snack factory.”
Children are first suited up in stylish aprons branded with IRVINS’ signature logo, as they embark on their educational and interactive snack-making journey. The experience begins with an informative brand video to offer an exclusive look into IRVINS’ inspiring story, before interacting with dummy ingredients such as chilli, curry leaves, and salted egg powder to unravel the secrets behind IRVINS’ iconic flavours.
Guided by a child-safe “oven” equipped with tablets, young chefs dive into the cooking process with enthusiasm to experience the joy of crafting their very own IRVINS masterpieces. Budding chefs are given a chance to watch their creations bake to perfection in the oven, marvelling at the transformation right before their eyes.
At the packaging station, expert instructors assist children in activating a conveyor belt, guiding them through each step of the packaging process. With a simple press of a button, the pre-packed potato chips and fish skin snacks are dispatched for children to take on the role of little quality inspectors, ensuring their creations meet IRVINS’ highest quality standards. They are then given free rein to creatively display and restock items to keep the love for IRVINS’ going.
Last but not least, each visitor will receive a special IRVINS voucher to redeem at KidZania Singapore or any IRVINS outlet, ensuring the fun continues long after the experience ends.
