inner.teahouse offers a quiet alternative to the city’s usual café scene, tucked away on the second floor of a shophouse in Chinatown. Previously co-located with Round & Round at Pearl’s Hill, the tea house now occupies its own dedicated space — one defined by dark wood interiors, antique accents, soft natural light, and the subtle scent of incense.
Founded by Jane Cai, the concept centres on a deeper appreciation of traditional tea culture. Teas are carefully sourced from China’s Fujian province, with a focus on quality and seasonality. Guests can explore a range of white, oolong, and black teas through a hosted experience, paired with a rotating selection of light bites that complement each brew.
For a more personal pace, the standard tea tasting option allows visitors to choose their own teaware and tea, creating a self-guided session with gentle guidance available. Rooted in tradition yet quietly contemporary, Inner Teahouse invites guests to slow down and reconnect — one thoughtful cup at a time.
