Hvala Kissa marks a quiet shift for the Hvala Group, introducing a Japanese-inspired coffee concept at 100AM Mall that puts decaf firmly in the spotlight. Drawing from kissaten culture, the space is designed for lingering rather than rushing—soft lighting, pale wood finishes, and the comforting aroma of roasted beans setting an unhurried tone from the moment guests step in.
Unlike Hvala’s tea-led siblings, Kissa centres its menu on both regular and decaffeinated coffee, offering espresso, filter, and cold brew options without treating decaf as an afterthought. Beans are selected with the same care the group is known for, including unique origins such as Yunnan, and the approach encourages coffee enjoyment without a time curfew. Here, a late latte is simply part of the experience, not a compromise.
Desserts mirror the café’s coffee-forward focus, with bakes like Coffee Pecan Tart, Coffee Basque Cheesecake, and Coffee Opera rounding out the menu. As Hvala Group’s first foray into coffee, Hvala Kissa extends its ethos of mindful hospitality into a new medium—creating a calm, thoughtful space where flavour leads, time slows, and every cup invites conversation.
