Fans of the well-loved shrimp paste chicken can now enjoy the zi char staple elevated from a humble side dish into a myriad of main star dishes thanks to the efforts of four good friends. HAR HAR Chicken! is brought to you by Singaporean foodies and avid har cheong gai lovers from different walks of life: LG Han from One Michelin-starred Labyrinth, social media personality Lennard Yeong, restauranteur Tay Jianli and investment professional Bevin Desker. They have banded together to premiere HAR HAR Chicken! with the simple mission to give har cheong gai the spotlight it deserves.
Recreated as a hero product in the form of standalone wings, burgers, rice boxes and more, har cheong gai is the name of the game, presenting new ways to enjoy this local treat. They come complete with sides of their own to really bring the biggest har cheong gai satisfaction.

Bite into crunchy goodness with the HAR-burger ($7.30) that sandwiches a whole golden har cheong cutlet with tomato and lettuce. The spicy version borrows its punch from Sriracha mayo while the original is delightfully creamy with regular mayo. For the peckish, burger and fries are also available as a set ($9.70).
For complete chicken goodness, the HAR HAR Wings ($3.20 per piece, $18 for six) is your best bet with whole wings marinated and coated in a har cheong batter before fried to crispy indulgence. Choose from one or six pieces for flexibility depending on your appetite.
Satiate bigger appetites the set boxes (from $4.90), starting with the Saver Box that consists of one wing and a choice of fries or chicken rice, accompanied by achar-slaw and chicken rice chilli. Voracious eaters will find satisfaction with the HAR-ty Double Wing Box that brings two wings or the HAR-ty Boneless Thigh Box that swaps out wings for a whole boneless chicken har cheong thigh cutlet. All sets come with the option of adding on a Fried Egg ($1.20), Mini Popcorn ($2) or Mini Achar-slaw ($1.20).
