Singapore’s first-ever gyutan (ox tongue) specialty restaurant makes its debut on Tras Street, presenting succulent gyutan in absolutely exquisite creations.
Located along the buzzy and lively stretch of Tras Street, Gyutan-Tan is Singapore’s first-ever gyutan specialty restaurant that takes pride in its enticing and affordable menu featuring a blend of tradition and modernity. Decked in contemporary Japanese-Scandivanian décor, the restaurant has an understated elegance that exudes a warm and convivial vibe.
Guests may also watch Head Chef Yoshiyuki Kuroshima and his team in action behind a show kitchen as they meticulously prepare the delicacy before grilling over binchotan to achieve an aromatic char.



The smoky and tender gyutan is showcased in various forms such as delectable appetisers, chargrilled mains, donburi (rice bowl) and teishoku (set meal).
The restaurant’s affordable menu features a tantalising blend of tradition and modernity – from gyutan served in unique ways, to a range of mouth-watering pork and chicken dishes that are stars in their own right!
Gyutan-Tan is under the Gaia Group, that also houses Social Place in Singapore, as well as Mutia Garden, The Living Room, Brü Garden, Izumiya and Glass House in Medan, Indonesia.
