Spurred by the success of Gourmet Park RWS last July, Food Truck Nation is rejuvenating the Kampong Bugis locale with a pop-up rendition of the multi-concept food haven. Now open till end December 2024, the Gourmet Park Kampong Bugis Pop-up brings together a diverse mix of 5 homegrown brands, spruced with an exciting calendar of renowned chef collaborations, grill-outs and experiential happenings for the perfect hangout to kickback with friends amidst lush surroundings.
Conceived by the same team behind The Goodburger, Singapore’s premiere food truck operator, the pop-up takes the Gourmet Park label as a multi-concept experience beyond the confines of food trucks and containers.
Sited at the ground floor which was previously home to the iconic Camp Kilo, visitors will find themselves in an idyllic refuge, away from the hustle and bustle yet minutes from the CBD.
Mirroring the experience of exploring different cuisines, the pop-up brings together 5 brands to give diners casual but elevated choices that are accessibly priced. Making an appearance as a teaser ahead of its official launch at Robertson Quay in Q3 2024, Carnaby is a new British concept by the renowned Chef Adam Penney in partnership with the team behind The Goodburger. Best known as the burger maestro and executive head chef of Potato Head Folk and Three Buns, Chef Penney is revisiting his roots with a modern twist on classic British fare. Being served at Kampong Bugis is Carnaby’s tight but mighty breakfast selection.
Complementing the backyard feel is a concise selection of barbeque signatures from Meatsmith from Telok Ayer Street. Featuring expertly cut and dry-aged meats sourced from the USA and Australia. Playing to the communal and laid-back nature of the space, visitors in search of a post-work or weekend watering hole can expect a selection of garden-inspired cocktails. The curated cocktail menu includes signatures like the Garden of Eden, Gincello and Kampong B Mojito.
Beans from Liberty Coffee takes care of the caffeine fix to fuel brunch affairs on the weekend, with cold variations to refresh. Wine and beer drinkers can pace their time over beers available on tap, a rotation of craft beers by the bottle or can, and wines by the glass.
Carrying the torch from the old Camp Kilo days, visitors can expect a dynamic roster of events for something different on every visit. Gourmet Park Kampong Bugis is set to host events such as weekend grill-outs and kitchen takeovers led by renowned chefs to be revealed in the coming months. The open-air space will also pave way for collaboration events beyond food including outdoor parties, family-centric and pet-friendly activities.
