After an elegant transformation, Cherry Garden at Mandarin Oriental reopens with a new identity — and a Michelin-starred name at the helm. Now known as Cherry Garden by Chef Fei, the restaurant welcomes guests from July 2 with a refreshed culinary direction led by the celebrated chef behind two-Michelin-starred Jiang by Chef Fei in Guangzhou. Drawing from his Chaoshan roots, Chef Fei presents a refined menu that bridges the best of Cantonese and Teochew cuisine, spotlighting handcrafted dim sum, seafood specialties, and signature dishes infused with regional character.
The menu is a showcase of elevated tradition and bold flavour. Highlights include wok-fried lobster in a tangy broth of basil and pickled mustard greens — a nod to Chef Fei’s heritage — alongside wagyu beef tossed with Sichuan peppercorns and chilli for spice lovers. For a gentler touch, the Crucian Carp congee offers delicate comfort, accompanied by a curated array of condiments. Each dish reflects Chef Fei’s precision, passion, and deep respect for seasonal ingredients and time-honoured techniques.
Cherry Garden’s interiors mirror the sophistication of its menu. Rich wooden accents, textured stone walls, and thoughtful design elements evoke the grace of traditional Chinese courtyards. Whether dining in the main space or in one of the intimate private rooms — suited for gatherings of four to eighteen — guests can expect a serene and immersive experience. With its renewed vision, Cherry Garden by Chef Fei stands as a destination for those seeking the pinnacle of Cantonese and Teochew cuisine in Singapore.
