Nestled near the entrance of Rainforest Wild ASIA, Cavern Restaurant is inspired by the Mulu Caves of Sarawak, one of the largest and most intricate cave systems in Southeast Asia and a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
Managed by TungLok Group, whose award-winning establishments across the region are renowned for their exceptional quality and uniquely crafted menus, Cavern Restaurant brings unparalleled quality to the Mandai Wildlife Reserve.
With a total capacity of 158pax, Cavern Restaurant provides a dining experience like no other, as visitors may wine and dine under crystalline lights reminiscent of natural cave droplets. Helmed by Head Chef Sheng Lim, whose culinary journey spans over a decade from JAAN, CURE Concepts, and CÉ LA VI Singapore, diners can indulge in a thoughtfully curated cosmopolitan blend of International Western flavours.
In line with modern environmental consciousness, Cavern Restaurant has also implemented numerous sustainable practices throughout its operations. The restaurant features innovative menu covers of mycelium leather derived from mushrooms, a biodegradable alternative to traditional materials that offers a decade of durability. Their commitment to sustainability extends to their cutlery holders, which are thoughtfully made from reclaimed teak, helping to minimize deforestation. The restaurant has also partnered with alcohol suppliers to utilize larger volume packaging, reducing glass consumption and storage requirements while maintaining a more sustainable supply chain.
