Caracara, the newly opened café and bar on Neil Road, immediately captivates visitors with its stunning interior design. Located beneath the Michelin-starred restaurant Chaleur, Caracara stands out with its unique wooden furniture, reminiscent of a luxury showroom. This is no surprise, as the owners also run Falcon Incorporation, a company renowned for its work with luxury hotels like Mondrian Singapore and Oakwood Studios Singapore. Not only can you admire the furniture, but if something catches your eye, it’s available for purchase—just ask the staff.
Beyond its impeccable ambiance, Caracara offers a thoughtfully curated menu that includes both food and coffee. The café serves items like the Hokkaido Hotate Carpaccio and Wagyu Sukiyaki Don, alongside lighter options like the No Carb Day! For dessert, you can indulge in the café’s version of a traditional tiramisu, whimsically named Cara Miss You, which is charmingly presented to resemble seedlings in a pot. The matcha burnt Basque cheesecake is another highlight, known for its delicate balance of bitterness and sweetness.
While Caracara’s coffee menu is already a hit, featuring unique offerings like the Milkadoodle latte and Dark Indeed espresso tonic, some of the café’s signature items, such as the Aurora grape coffee and Cara milk, are so popular they tend to sell out quickly. For those eager to experience all that Caracara has to offer, including its upcoming omakase and dinner menus launching in September, an early visit is recommended.
