Cai-Ca is the newest name in Singapore’s bubble tea scene, taking over six former Gong Cha outlets across Lot One, Bugis Junction, King Albert Park, Northpoint City, Century Square and NUS U Town. The brand is founded by Kang Puay Seng — previously CEO of Gong Cha Singapore and co-founder of Mr Bean — who drew on decades of experience to develop this new concept with his team.
The menu centres on drinks made with Japanese soya milk and tea, offering flavours such as Osmanthus Soy Milk Tea, Toffee Chewy Pearl Soy Milk Tea and Da Hong Pao Soy Milk Tea. For those who prefer a classic brew, Cai-Ca also serves traditional milk tea and fresh milk options made with a variety of tea bases.
As the brand grows, it aims to introduce Nutri-Grade-friendly beverages and snacks designed to pair with its drinks. Cai-Ca’s arrival follows Gong Cha’s islandwide closure, with the brand announcing plans to return in 2026 — but for now, these refreshed spaces bring a new alternative for bubble tea fans.
