Near Queenstown, Cafe Dough takes over the ground-floor unit at the Alexis condominium on Alexandra Road, in the space previously occupied by EG Coffee. The cosy café introduces a collaboration with That’sMyPizza, a brand that first gained a following as a home-based operation before moving into the hawker scene and now into a full café setting. In the mornings, the space works as a quiet coffee stop, but as the day progresses, it shifts into a pizza-focused kitchen serving Neapolitan-style pies alongside pastries and house-made drinks.
The highlight here is the pizza, made with dough fermented for 72 hours using Italian 00 flour, giving the crust a light, airy texture with the signature blistered edges associated with proper Neapolitan baking. The menu moves between classic combinations and more experimental toppings, from four-cheese variations and margherita to bolder flavours like mala smoked duck or Japanese-style chashu pork. The balance between Italian technique and Asian-inspired toppings gives the selection a distinctive character, while keeping the focus on well-made dough and carefully prepared ingredients.
Beyond pizza, the counter also offers a small range of pastries and coffee for those stopping by earlier in the day or looking for something lighter. Croissants, tarts, and espresso-based drinks share the menu with house-made sauces and syrups, reflecting the café’s hands-on approach. With its compact layout, familiar wooden interior, and neighbourhood setting, Cafe Dough feels intentionally low-key — a place for a quick coffee, a casual slice, or an easy meal in the Alexandra area without the crowds.
