Back Bolder and Better
On the menu, burgers still underscore the lineup, but now improved with a new signature burger sauce, a precious puree of caramelized onions laced with the fragrance of chicken skin. A touch of spice also enters the equation with homemade pickled green chilies, a localised take on the punchy relish made with local green chilli instead of the dime-a-dozen jalapeño.
All ingredients that make up a Burgs burger continues to be made in-house with prime ingredients. The burgers come sandwiched between brioche buns that are baked fresh daily using Danish butter and slow-proofed for extra flavour.
Essential to the signature of Burgs burgers are its beef patties, made from 100% hand-pound pure beef and composed of the golden ratio of 80% lean meat and 20% fat before grilled to perfect smoky perfection. This ensures juicy patties with a good bite balanced with ideal juiciness. Chicken cutlets and fish filets are also pure meat, battered in house and served with fresh vegetables and house-made sauces whipped up by the chef’s own recipe.
For a taste of classic cheeseburgers, The Original ($11.90) is stacked with beef patty, sig sauce, American cheese and pickled green chilies . The Bae Con ($13.90) adds crispy turkey bacon into the mix, crowning a burger of beef patty, American cheese and homemade barbecue sauce.
For crispy chicken burgers, the Big Bird ($11.90) sandwiches crispy fried chicken between two homemade brioche buns and layers it with iceberg lettuce for more crunch. Bite into fish burgers with the Fish & Chips ($13.90) that serves up battered fish with iceberg lettuce, American cheese and smoked tartar sauce between homemade buns. All choices come with the option to be transformed into a meal for an additional $3.90.
When it comes to sides, Burgs’ Nuggies ($4.80/6.30/12.00 for 6/9/20 pieces) are derived from real chicken chunks, flavoured in two variants, Original or Spicy Seaweed. Opt for accompanying sauces like Ranch, Spicy Nacho Cheese, Curry or Spicy Kicap Manis. They are perfect to be accompanied with add-ons like Fries ($4.90), Burgs’ Sig Fries ($5.90) and Onion Rings ($4.90). All sauces and dips are also made in-house for a fully authentic Burgs experience.
Wash it all down with thirst quenchers highlighted by a Homemade Black Lemonade ($4.90) a refreshing lemonade drink tinted a mysterious black with charcoal. Finish things on a sweet note with desserts like Banana and Peanut Butter Pie ($3.90) a delightful sweet and salty crispy roll, or a fruitier tropical delight of Fresh Mango Sorbet ($4.90).
Burgs’ burgers may be for the everyman but the ingredients, technique and thought that go into them are carefully refined to gourmet standards for top-notch burgers at unbeatable value-for-money prices.
