Blue Bottle Coffee has officially opened its doors at LUMINE SINGAPORE in Raffles City Singapore today, marking its highly anticipated debut in Southeast Asia. Bringing its signature coffee experience to the heart of Singapore’s thriving café culture, the globally recognised brand has built a reputation for its meticulous approach to specialty coffee.
Founded in 2002 by James Freeman, Blue Bottle Coffee started from humble beginnings as a small coffee cart in Oakland, California. It has since grown into a globally recognised brand with a global network of cafes in the US and Asia, known for its meticulous approach to coffee sourcing, roasting, and brewing. Blue Bottle Coffee Lumine Singapore Raffles City Cafe continues this by offering an intimate yet contemporary space for guests to savour every cup.
Crafting the Perfect Coffee Experience
The 42-seater café at Raffles City serves a thoughtfully crafted menu of Blue Bottle Coffee’s signature blends and espresso-based beverages. Coffee lovers can indulge in classic offerings such as Americano (S$7.50), Cappuccino (S$8), Latte (S$8.50) and Mocha (S$9.50). The brand’s notable iced coffee selection includes its signature Cold Brew (S$7.50) and New Orleans-Style Coffee (S$8), cold brewed with roasted chicory, and blended with milk and organic cane sugar.
For non-coffee drinkers, Blue Bottle Coffee presents a selection of refreshing options such as Lemon Yuzu Fizz (S$8.50), Kimino Sparkling Apple Juice (S$7.50), and Kimino Sparkling Peach Juice (S$7.50), alongside comforting favourites like Matcha Latte (S$9.50) and Hot Chocolate (S$9).
To complement the beverages, Blue Bottle Coffee has partnered with Bakery Brera, a beloved local bakery, to serve an array of freshly baked artisanal viennoiseries to guests. The menu includes an exclusive selection of Singapore-inspired creations such as the Coconut Kouign-Amann (S$8), and Pandan Canelé with Kaya (S$6), as well as timeless classics like Pain au Chocolat (S$8), Almond Croissant (S$8), and Triple Cheese & Turkey Croissant (S$8). This curated selection enhances the Blue Bottle experience, offering guests the perfect pairing of quality coffee and handcrafted pastries.

A Café Design Rooted in Connection
The new 135-square-metre café space is designed to be open and inviting, with no visual barriers, creating a natural flow between guests, baristas, and the café space. At the heart of the café is a U-shaped island bar, offering 360-degree visibility and allowing for warm, personal interactions that reflect Blue Bottle Coffee’s hospitality.
The material palette for the café reflects a balance of modernity and warmth. The stainless steel bar complements the fashion forward setting of LUMINE SINGAPORE, while the white oak furniture and leather accents introduce an inviting tactile contrast. To complete the sensory experience, custom oak Taguchi speakers were selected to pair with the café and enhance the atmosphere, reinforcing Blue Bottle Coffee’s dedication to craftsmanship in every detail.
A Commitment to Craftsmanship and Community
Blue Bottle Coffee’s debut in Singapore is grounded in meaningful collaborations that reflect its values of craftsmanship and community. Blue Bottle has partnered with Bakery Brera, a local bakery established in 2016 in a heartland neighbourhood, which has become a local favourite not only for its acclaimed pastries but also for its strong community spirit and commitment to social responsibility.
In keeping with the brand’s commitment to artistry, Blue Bottle Coffee has also collaborated with homegrown floral studio The Florté to introduce seasonal arrangements to the space. Inspired by the flower markets of Covent Garden, The Florté’s modern botanical style brings a touch of local creativity to the café’s atmosphere, inviting guests to pause, take in their surroundings, and connect more deeply with the moment.
As part of the opening celebrations, from 3 to 5 April 2025 between 12pm and 7pm, guests will be able to customise their Blue Bottle Singapore Tote at the café, with any tote purchase.
With its first café in Southeast Asia, Blue Bottle Coffee invites guests in Singapore to experience its simple yet revolutionary idea: to serve delicious coffee, roasted fresh and brewed to order, sourced from the world’s most sustainable farms. The new space embodies the brand’s dedication to craftsmanship, environmental responsibility, and warm, design-led hospitality. True to Blue Bottle’s “less is more” approach, every detail, from the café’s layout to its community collaborations, has been thoughtfully considered to put coffee at the center of beautiful, shared moments.
