Asia’s first Minecraft Experience: Villager Rescue is set to open in Singapore this April, transforming Mandai Wildlife Reserve into a real-world version of the beloved block-building game. Running from 24 April to 13 September 2026 at the new Green Canvas venue, the large-scale immersive attraction marks the first travelling exhibition to be staged at the space, adding a new entertainment draw to the Mandai precinct.
Created by Mojang Studios, Microsoft, and Montreal creative studio Supply + Demand, the experience places visitors inside the Minecraft universe through eight larger-than-life themed rooms inspired by familiar biomes from the game. The one-hour adventure follows a story-driven quest where players must gather resources, solve challenges, and rescue villagers, with large-scale projections, theatrical sets and motion-tracking technology bringing the Overworld to life.
Each participant is given an interactive “Orb of Interaction” that allows them to trigger effects, influence the environment, and move the storyline forward as they progress through the mission. After completing the quest, visitors can stop by a themed Trading Post featuring exclusive merchandise, including special in-game rewards. Tickets start from $46 for adults and $40 for children on weekdays, with timed entry slots released in intervals, positioning the exhibition as one of the season’s most anticipated family-friendly attractions in Singapore.
