National Gallery Singapore’s Keppel Centre for Art Education (Centre) has reopened with seven new child-centric learning zones, family-oriented programmes and exciting workshops that will revolve around the theme Art & Wonder.
First opened in 2015, the centre is located on the first floor of the gallery and is the first dedicated art education facility of its kind in Singapore and the region. It has also won the Children in Museums Award in 2018, an initiative of the European Museum Academy and Hands On! International Association of Children in Museums.
A vibrant and dynamic space, the Keppel Centre for Art Education invites young learners to be inspired by the art of Singapore and Southeast Asia. Discover how the core elements of art form the foundation of creative expression through hands-on and immersive experiences. Embark on a wondrous journey of artful discovery where curiosity and imagination know no bounds! The Centre also provides a lively line-up of programmes for youths, children and families all year round.
Located on Level 1 of the City Hall Wing, the Keppel Centre is easily accessible to visitors from schools and families with young children. Admission is free.
The Gallery is grateful to Keppel for their generous support in making the Keppel Centre for Art Education possible.
