The National Parks Board (NParks) has opened a new Fort Canning Heritage Gallery and enhanced Spice Garden, which features a new Spice Gallery at Fort Canning Park, providing Singaporeans with refreshed recreational green spaces, and opportunities for the community to learn more about the history of Fort Canning Park. The opening was hosted by Minister for National Development Desmond Lee, who also launched a new book documenting the rich history of Fort Canning Park.
The Fort Canning Heritage Gallery is located at Fort Canning Centre, Level 2 and 3. Admission is free and it opens daily from 10am to 6pm. The gallery closed on the last Monday of each month. If the last Monday of the month is a Public Holiday or a Public Holiday off-in-lieu, the gallery will be closed on the following day instead.
