Kopitiam has unveiled its most refined food hall yet at Parkway Parade — a fresh culinary destination that brings together diverse flavours, cultural richness, and the relaxed charm of Singapore’s East Coast. The new space features a curated mix of well-loved classics and surprising new additions, such as Blanco Court Beef Noodles, MICHELIN-recommended HJH Maimunah, as well as premium options like donburi bowls, fresh oysters, and a Western-style bar serving up handcrafted cocktails.
This reimagined food hall introduces a modern coastal aesthetic, subtly blended with Peranakan influences. Visitors are welcomed into a serene space adorned with coastal hues and detailed with design elements such as handmade tiles and a porcelain mural. The mural, created in collaboration with The Intan — Singapore’s award-winning Peranakan home museum — pays homage to Peranakan heritage through its symbolic peony motifs, celebrating beauty, culture, and prosperity.
As part of its launch festivities, Kopitiam is offering a series of activities that celebrate local culture. These include a vibrant Peranakan dance performance, an interactive tile-painting workshop, and a Nonya kueh giveaway. Shoppers and diners also stand a chance to win Kopitiam vouchers during this period, adding to the festive buzz surrounding the food hall’s grand debut.
At the heart of the experience lies an elevated selection of food and beverage options. Beyond Asian comfort fare, diners can look forward to global cuisines such as Thai street eats, fiery Mala Sichuan, Balinese beach favourites, and salt-baked specialties. There’s also a strong focus on freshness, with farm-to-table concepts, premium sashimi, and hearty herbal soups making this food hall a destination for all palates.
Flint Specialty Grill & Bar marks a major transformation within the space, offering diners a refined bar experience alongside their meal. The new concept includes classic cocktails like the Singapore Sling and Long Island Tea, artisanal coffees, and an extensive selection of wines and whiskies. This thoughtful pairing of cuisine with quality beverages adds a contemporary flair to the traditional food hall setup.
In support of sustainable practices, Kopitiam has also introduced eco-friendly initiatives. At the Kopi Kiosk, drinks are served without straws and with less ice to reduce waste. Customers are encouraged to bring their own cups through the BYOC program, earning a 10-cent rebate per order. Additional savings and perks are available when paying via the FairPrice app, including 10% discounts, reward challenges, and $3 breakfast sets for NTUC members between 7am to 11am daily.
