Fans of authentic Vietnamese cuisine have more to celebrate as Paper Rice unveils its newly renovated Changi City Point outlet with a fresh look and a refreshed menu! Known for its authentic Vietnamese flavours crafted by a native Vietnamese chef, Paper Rice offers a comprehensive taste of Vietnam with dishes from over 15 cities, starting from just $8.90.
Inspired by the country’s vibrant river culture, Paper Rice draws its identity from the humble riverboat, a timeless representation of Vietnam’s heritage, tradition, and way of life. Present from the bustling floating markets of the Mekong Delta to the craftsmanship and resourcefulness that define its culture, the boat also symbolises a journey, connecting the country’s diverse culinary regions – each with its unique flavors and stories – to create a truly authentic dining experience.
A True Taste of Vietnam by a Vietnamese Chef
The signature freshness and crisp herbaceousness of Vietnam come alive in a menu of traditional favourites as well as contemporary specialities with dishes from $8.90. Look forward to Mekong specialties like Hand Pulled Spring Chicken and Deep-Fried Seabass with Spicy Tamarind Sauce, alongside iconic dishes such as regional pho bowls and the beloved Hanoi-style egg coffee.
For an exclusive treat at the Changi City Point outlet, savor outlet-exclusive specials like Hand Pulled Spring Chicken ($20.90) a whole chicken grilled to such tenderness that it can be easily torn apart by hand and had with fresh vegetables, green zest chilli sauce, and salt. Miss not the Deep Fried Seabass with Spicy Tamarind Sauce ($23.90) that brings a whole sea bass deep-fried to golden crispy crunchiness, served with fresh vegetables, rice vermicelli, and spicy tamarind sauce.

Start your meal with mouth-watering appetizers like Stir-Fried Half-Shell Cockles in Tamarind ($15.90), juicy cockles fragranced with ample garlic, laksa leaf, tamarind, and fish sauce, finished with a sprinkling of peanut bits; or the Spring Roll Platter ($22.90) serving up Vietnam’s famed translucent rice spring rolls in a variety of flavours, including prawns, mushrooms, and chicken with rice vermicelli and fresh vegetables. Volley up with Hue Minced Pork Lemongrass Skewers ($11.90), featuring pork meat rolls grilled on lemongrass sticks and served with rice vermicelli on purple lettuce leaves and Vietnamese peanut sauce.
A hard find in Singapore, Paper Rice’s signature Bánh Xèo (Vietnamese Crepe) is available in four delicious flavours – Seafood ($16.90), Grilled Pork Belly ($14.90), Grilled Chicken ($14.90), and Vegetarian Mushroom ($13.90). Each egg crepe folds and envelopes bean sprouts, spring onions, yellow mung beans, and onions, complete with fresh vegetables and fish sauce.
No trip to Vietnam is complete without pho and coffee! Paper Rice elevates this tradition with the Wagyu Waterfall Pho ($34.90), a special chef’s creation that’s a visual feast as much as a delectable bowl of goodness. Slices of beef are arranged by your bowl and set aflame topside. As the beef cooks, slow-cooked beef bone broth is slowly poured into your noodles, and topping it all off is a medley of fresh vegetables balanced on fried rice paper.
Vietnam Coconut Latte Shake ($6.90) combines the rich, intense flavors of high-quality Vietnamese coffee with the creamy sweetness of coconut. This beloved classic features a base of traditional Vietnamese drip coffee made with premium coffee beans layered with silky coconut cream and topped with freshly toasted coconut flakes. For dessert, try the Banana Sago in Coconut Crème ($5.90), a creamy delight of chewy tapioca sago pearls swimming in a coconut crème base with slices of caramelized banana.
