A chic new rooftop dining destination has quietly opened in Singapore. Atic, located atop Citadines Connect City Centre Singapore, offers contemporary Southeast Asian cuisine in a stylish secret-garden setting above the city. With both alfresco terrace seating and an indoor dining area overlooking a sleek rooftop pool, Atic blends modern sophistication with laid-back charm. The 110-seater restaurant is helmed by Chef Newein Dolph Toolseram, whose culinary background spans cultures and acclaimed kitchens—including Bread Street Kitchen by Gordon Ramsay.
The menu at Atic is a vibrant expression of Chef Newein’s diverse heritage, drawing on Burmese, Chinese, Dutch, Thai, and Peranakan Hokkien influences. Each dish is crafted with intention, using homemade spice blends, premium meats, and fresh herbs to deliver bold, balanced flavours. Signature highlights include the nostalgic Roti John, made with fluffy Hainanese buns from a heritage bakery, and the hearty Pork Chop Baker. Sides like flavour-packed chicken wings and indulgent desserts round out the menu’s appeal.
For daytime diners, Atic offers a well-priced weekday lunch set menu ($17.90) from 12pm to 2.30pm, featuring a choice of bases like egg noodles or turmeric basmati rice, paired with proteins such as Brick Chicken, Grilled Tiger Prawns, and Fried Oyster Mushrooms, plus a trio of sauces. Currently serving breakfast and lunch, the restaurant is slated to expand to dinner service later in the year. Whether it’s a casual meal with friends or a special celebration, Atic promises an immersive rooftop experience unlike any other.
