MasterChef Singapore Season 4 winner Inderpal Singh has found a permanent home for his culinary vision with the opening of Meh’r. After a year of exploring different kitchens through pop-ups, restaurant collaborations, and private dining, he now welcomes guests to his own space. Tucked away behind a bright yellow door along the back alley of South Bridge Road, Meh’r is a bold and inventive restaurant inspired by Inderpal’s travels across Southeast Asia, bringing elevated interpretations of beloved regional street food to the table.
A standout on the menu is the signature bak bak wings, a dish that first gained recognition during his time on MasterChef. This unique creation features boneless wings glazed in kicap manis, stuffed with fragrant Hainanese chicken rice, and served with banana chilli on the side. Other highlights include tom kha scallop ceviche and a creative take on nasi padang, presented as a flavor-packed ‘begedil pave.’ Each dish showcases a balance of bold spices, fresh ingredients, and inventive techniques that honour the essence of Southeast Asian street food while giving it a refined twist.

Beyond its menu, Meh’r embodies the vibrant energy of the region’s bustling markets and colorful dining scenes. The restaurant’s lively atmosphere and stylish interiors set the stage for an immersive dining experience that celebrates the diversity of flavors from Bali, India, Malaysia, Thailand, and Singapore. Whether it’s through unexpected pairings or playful reinventions of classic dishes, every bite at Meh’r is a tribute to the rich culinary traditions that have shaped Inderpal’s journey.
To complete the experience, guests can head upstairs to Phool House, the rooftop bar that offers handcrafted cocktails with a view of Marina Bay Sands. Here, the flavors of Meh’r extend beyond the plate, with drinks that complement the bold, dynamic essence of the restaurant. More than just a dining destination, Meh’r is a place where tradition meets innovation, and where every meal is a celebration of Southeast Asia’s street food culture.
