Hotel Fort Canning is set to undergo a transformative rebranding as Mett Singapore, bringing a fresh identity to the historic property nestled within Fort Canning Park. Managed by Dubai-based Sunset Hospitality Group, the team behind SushiSamba Singapore, the revamped hotel will combine its heritage charm with modern luxury. Scheduled to reopen on October 1, 2025, Mett Singapore will unveil redesigned guestrooms with a minimalist aesthetic, updated public spaces, and enhanced meeting facilities.
The rebrand will also introduce exciting new lifestyle and dining experiences. Guests and visitors can look forward to three to four unique F&B concepts, details of which remain under wraps. A key highlight will be the transformation of the hotel’s existing swimming pool into a vibrant beach club open to the public. Additionally, a speakeasy will be added, further enhancing the hotel’s allure as a premier destination for both leisure and entertainment.
Situated in a restored 20th-century military building within the lush 18-hectare Fort Canning Park, the heritage hotel has long been an underrated gem. With its rich history, serene surroundings, and central location, the reimagined Mett Singapore aims to position itself among the city’s most sought-after luxury escapes, offering a perfect blend of modern sophistication and timeless heritage.
