Botanico, previously located in the Botanic Gardens, has relocated to Seletar’s dining enclave, The Summerhouse. Now situated in a charming two-storey heritage bungalow, the restaurant offers an elegant atmosphere perfect for special occasions or romantic date nights. With an Asian-inspired menu that emphasizes grilled dishes and innovative fusions, Botanico promises a unique dining experience.
The menu features creative dishes such as Foie Gras Kaya Toast, where foie gras kaya jam and cold butter are spread on thick toast, and Sichuan Boiled Fish, an elevated take on Chongqing grilled fish. Another highlight is the Min Jiang Kueh, a deconstructed version of the classic Chinese pancake, served with peanut ice cream and a corn sponge. These dishes reflect Botanico’s commitment to blending traditional Asian flavours with modern culinary techniques.
Botanico’s new location at The Summerhouse, while somewhat remote, adds to its charm. Though it’s a bit inconvenient to reach by public transport—Sengkang MRT Station is a 30-minute bus ride away—the secluded setting contributes to the restaurant’s allure. During the day, the space is bright and spacious, transforming into a cozy, intimate venue in the evening, ideal for special celebrations and romantic dinners.
